Set up MiniMax ​

MiniMax connects with a key. You can use a Token Plan—with a monthly allowance—or a pay-per-use API key. Each one is a connection type, and both are created in Settings > Models > MiniMax.

Choose the connection type ​

Both types use the same endpoint in Kujira, but the credentials are created in different places and must not be interchanged. The type is chosen when the connection is created and cannot be changed afterwards.

Connect a Token Plan ​

Subscribe to a Token Plan

In MiniMax Platform, activate the Plus, Max, or Ultra plan that the organization will use.

Copy the Subscription Key

Under Account > Token Plan, copy the Subscription Key associated with the plan.

Save it as a subscription connection

In Kujira, select Add connection under MiniMax, give it a name that says which account it is, choose the Subscription type, paste the key, and save.

Create a pay-per-use API key ​

  1. Open MiniMax Platform: Basic information.
  2. Copy the account API key.
  3. In Kujira, add another MiniMax connection, this time of the API key type, paste the key, and save.

Tell the two keys apart

The Subscription Key uses the Token Plan allowance. The API key uses per-token credit. Although both use the same endpoint, they are not equivalent.

Several MiniMax connections ​

Both options can coexist, and so can two accounts of the same type. One is marked as the default—the one inherited by agents that pick no connection—and the rest are pinned by name from each agent's configuration. Change the default with Make default on the row you want.

Activate an agent ​

In the agent, open Configuration > Model, choose the right MiniMax connection under Connection or leave Inherit from the organization, and then select a MiniMax model. If the agent is running, changing the connection restarts it on its own; changing the model requires restarting it.
